Ava has been working with Saskia less than a year and already has had the confidence to do her first monologue at the 1066 festival with some amazing feedback as well as audition for a local production of Matilda, where she was recalled for the main character! I’ve done several sessions with Saskia so far, and she’s been amazing from start to finish. As someone who’s just beginning acting, she made me feel comfortable and confident straight away. Saskia is a wonderful teacher, I have had her for accent work classes in RP as well as just basic 1 -1 acting classes to prepare me for my college auditions. She has helped me improve as a general performer by giving me tips on how I can express emotions better and also having reasons for the acting choices I make. In our RP classes she picks relevant pieces that I can relate to, making it easier to work on. I would highly recommend Saskia as she is a very encouraging teacher and is quick to adjust little things to really perfect them.

Saskia has a remarkable eye for detail. She will pick up on the smallest things – tone, phrasing, gesture, intention – and help you refine your performance until it feels authentic and layered. It’s never about forcing a certain way of doing things – instead, she guides you toward your best work, but always lets you make the final decision.
